At first I thought this was a Dimension DVD, since there are the barest of extras on here. The chapter selection menu doesn't even have pictures of the scenes! This was really suprising, since New Line DVDs are usually packed chock-full of extra goodies. At any rate, the transfer of the film is quite good. If you don't already have the widescreen tape, this is worth buying, since they're the same price. Jackie Chan purists may want to hunt down the Hong Kong version (Police Story 4: First Strike) instead, since this one is cut by about 20 minutes. But be warned -- that version, like the other Police Story DVDs, has atrocious sound quality.
